Surf lessons in Morocco: your questions
Do I need experience to take surf lessons in Tamraght, Taghazout or Agadir?
No. Every lesson is open to complete beginners: you don't need to be sporty or a strong swimmer, just at ease in the water. Surf Guiding is the one exception: it's for surfers who already catch unbroken waves on their own.
What is included in a surf lesson, and what should I bring?
Your instructor, a wetsuit and a board, soft or hard. Want photos of your session? Add them for €20 when you send your request. Bring a swimsuit, a towel, sunscreen and water.
Where do the lessons take place, and where do we meet?
Around our base in Tamraght, and in Taghazout and Agadir. We choose the beach that suits the sea on the day, with your wishes in mind, and agree on the meeting point when we confirm. We don't offer pick-up: plan a taxi or your own transport.
How do I book a surf lesson, and how do I pay?
Send us a request with our request form or on WhatsApp. We reply within 2 hours, from 8 am to 6 pm, and your lesson is booked once we agree on the time and the meeting point. Nothing to pay online and no deposit: you pay in cash after your session, in euros or dirhams, with no added fees.
What if the sea is not suitable, or I need to cancel?
If the sea isn't safe, we move or cancel your session and you pay nothing. If your plans change, just tell us by WhatsApp or email: cancelling is free. Full details are in our booking terms.
